nonprofit organization
For more than 50 years, Sheridan Shore Sailing School has
been proud to offer to students a chance to experience the
thrill, challenge and exhilaration of sailing. Our courses
help instill the skill of sailing and the character value
of seamanship to juniors, high school students and adults
of all ability levels.
Classes are led by instructors certified by U.S. or Canadian
Sailing Associations, and feature a low student to insturctor
ratio. A variety of courses have been designed to match
differing ability levels, age and style.
The sailing school uses the facilities of Sheridan Shore
Yacht Club which is located in Wilmette Harbor.
